I’ve arrived! (Blogging from a Cyber Cafe)
Posted on January 2nd, 2007 at 3:46 pm by Ashutosh

Hi to eveyone (if there is any)!

Well, this is my first post of my first blog in this life. You  probably can’t think of my feelings at this moment. It might be just another blogger to you in the evergrowing crowd of millions of bloggers online.

But for me its a very different feeling today. I feel that I got an extra sensory organ in my body through which I can freely express and communicate to all my fellow netizens. I feel so elated!

I am new to the world of computers and internet. It wasn’t long back when I used to hate computers and only learnt to check and send my mails with occassional surfing over the internet. But for past some months, I’d an opportunity to spent a plenty of time online and understood its power. I started craving for a blog when I visited some of them. One of my friends Mr. Ashok of www.helloashok.com  helped me to fulfill my ambition and hosted this blog for me in a very short time. So many a thanks to him for his gesture and efforts towards this. I booked the domain through his newly found venture www.ewebguru.com and he did the rest of the things.

I don’t have much idea of hosting and running a website or a blog. But I think I’ll learn a bit so that you don’t get upset with the crude and raw designs and looks of this blog. But please bear it for me for some time.

In my enthusiasm of blogging, I even forgot to wish you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year. Wishing you all a very great 2007! Actually, I was plannig to launch this blog on the first day of this year, but unfortunately, 1st Jan. being a holiday, all cyber cafes were closed in my city and I din’t had any access to the internet. Yeah, I am possibly one of the few bloggers, who blog from a cyber cafe!

Through this blog, I’ll like to communicate to the people like me who are not very used to the world of computers & internet and will like to share whatever I know & will know about it. I don’t have much stuff with me so the seasoned bloggers will probably find this blog boring. But I would like to appeal to them to visit this blog occassionaly to guide and share their wisdom with people like me who would like to learn and gather some of their wisdom. Perhaps some of you will be benevolent enough to devote a part of your time here and find it worthwhile. Ignore / indicate my blogging errors and blunders to me.

I am not good at typing but will soon devote some time to increase my speed and accuracy.

Whatever my weaknesses, but I am here in the world of blogging. Is anyone listening?

Welcome mick4recycle to this blog and thanks a lot for pointing me to my lost twin. I would like to communicate with my twin. If you are in touch with Vic, ask him to improve the comment mechanism on his blog. I wanted to post a comment there but was unable to do so. Its not very friendly for that matter. But Vic has done an excellent job with his posts full of information and are certainly helpful for the non-techies.
Infact, now I would like to recommend his blog to my visitors …and myself will try to be a bit different..lol!
