New Look to the Blog
Posted on May 26th, 2007 at 1:28 pm by Ashutosh

Well, I was away for a few days on my birthday for a visit to Shree Badrinathji …the most important of the four shrines of Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand.

Shri Badrinathji Temple After returning from the Shrine, I am feeling very light and cleanse in my thoughts, actions and daily routines. My mindset has got some sort of a makeover.

So, I decided to do some makeover for my blog as well. And here it is in its new look with a changed theme. I have upgraded the Word Press to the recently released 2.2 version. I have also added a “Subscribe to followup Comments” Link for the convenience of frequent Commenters. I have also installed Akismet Plugin to control spammers who were consuming a lot of my time merely to go through their useless and stupid comments. Fortunately, Akismet is functioning without any misses.

Moreover, I feel that I am very irregular in postings to my blog and it is creating some trouble or disappointment to some of my regular readers, especially when they revisit and find nothing new here. So I am installing a subscription system for this blog which will keep mailing all my posts right into the inbox of the Subscriber. This way I’ll also know about the number of loyal readers, I have :-P .

I’ll continue this makeover campaign for the whole week and keep making some more changes which you will notice.

Hope you will appreciate all these. Waiting eagerly for your feedback & comments on this as well as for the later ones. You may also suggest me for what else could be done for a better look and functionality of this blog.
