Exercise and Go to the Gym

There are many people in today’s society who are unhealthy. Many people do not like to exercise or find exercise to be unimportant. Due to the increase of sedentary, people would rather spend time to doing their favorite activity such as playing video games and watching movies than go to the gym. Everyone cannot afford the gym due to their social class, but the gym can be beneficial because it can improve heathy issues and help you get in shape.

First, exercise is important to many people because it can prevent heath issues. People should try to go to the gym at least two times a week because it can help you reduce heart disease. Moreover, exercise can help your brain function better and improve memory or thinking skills. According to Vanessa Richardson, “Exercise benefits the brain in numerous ways. Not only can regular workouts in the gym or on the playground improve attention span, memory, and learning, they can also reduce stress….” This indicates that exercise is good for the brain such as reducing depression to improving sleep.

We live in a society where people sit, watch, and do little workout. They have become obese by overeating and living a sedentary life. They have a higher percentage of getting health problems like high blood pressure, weight gain, and strokes. People should avoid sedentary life in order to prevent health risks. We should not sit on a chair for hours without taking a break to walk. It is understandable that people are busy due to work, school, and family, but we should not make that as an excuse not to exercise.

Secondly, it is very important to exercise because it helps people stay in shape. Regular exercise makes your body strong such as gaining muscle to carry heavy things. Furthermore, exercise helps improves energy levels because it strengthens the circulation and the heart muscle.

In addition to exercise, it is important to have a good meal to help you stay in shape. People should avoid fast food restaurants such as McDonalds and Burger King and exercise regularly. Exercising with a balanced meal would boost your energy and mood. According to Orli R. Etingin, “Regular exercise can provide myriad health benefits–it assists with weight loss, improves mood, and boosts your energy level.” This means that you would feel more relaxed, and energetic to do anything. On the other hand, people might argue that they don’t like to exercise using the equipment. However, there other types of exercises that people can do. There is yoga, dance, and Zumba that anyone can learn if they enjoy.

Obese or sedentary people may say exercise is not important or a waste of time and money. However, it is a great investment or opportunity for one person to do for themselves. Some people might argue that gym fees are expensive, but there are many places that you could go exercise such as a park. Exercising at a park or jogging at a lake would be a great start to stay healthy. According to Shirley Archer, a fitness instructor, “Exercise refers to physical activities that give participants the benefits not only of exercise but also of direct exposure to nature.” This means that exercising outdoors give you an eye opening of nature and fresh air which would motivate you to exercise.

In conclusion, exercise and eating healthy meals can help people who are obese and live sedentary lives. Exercise and eating healthy meals can make your body get energy and build up muscle. Exercise is also beneficial because it can prevent heath issues. Though many people cannot afford the gym, daily exercises at the gym can help you become healthy. People should exercise because it is very important to stay healthy.
