Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens is a zesty, spacey, over the top, disco murder mystery musical, free to Century College students and staff.
The musical follows the story of an imperiled dive bar on a far-away foreign planet and its performers who tend to be mysteriously murdered when they try to leave. One day, a notorious, revered team of cosmic Space Vixens, powered by glittery disco boots, descending from an ancient tribe of warriors, and best described as “hot, ball-busting space cops,” show up to investigate. The “investigation” gets a little messy when the Vixens’ romantic attachments complicate matters. This roller-coaster of a story has many twists and turns, and the audience will be immersed for the entire ride as the action unfolds within arm’s reach of their seats in the bar.
Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens is packed with innuendo and is intended for mature audiences. Audience members may opt in or out of interaction (both verbal and physical) with cast members. The seating is first come, first serve, and opens at 6:30 PM. Cabaret entertainment begins at 6:45 PM, and the main show begins at 7:00 PM.
Meet the Vixens
Jubilee Climax (played by Brittany Squillace)
Jubilee is the leader and senior member of the Space Vixens. She is rooted, grounded, confident, and a “powerhouse woman.” She has it together and has zero tolerance for nonsense, at least until she comes face-to-face with an old acquaintance…
Bunny Lingus (played by Olivia Horvath)
Bunny is the second most senior member of the Vixens, and Jubilee’s right-hand woman. She is “rooted in the power of the boot,” and despite having her moments, she can always get it together in the name of the Space Vixens.
Anna Labia (played by Lillian Rose Barrett)
Anna is fresh out of the academy and is the newest member of the Vixen team. Her inexperience makes her a little naïve, but with help from her teammates and the power of glitter and disco, she is determined to succeed on her first mission.
